Once again I'm writing about my animals. We had quite a few days starting with Mopdog getting a hair cut. I didn't take him to the groomers like I had planned on because time just wasn't available. Justin and I gave him a hair cut ourselves. You can actually see his eyes now. Mopdog is one of our strays that didn't have a home and now is one of our family members.

This is Bisquick, I call her Bissy, she was spayed this week and is still a little fuzzy from it. She did really well, but I think she was so scared and being that she is already a very nervous dog, dropped a few pounds since Monday night when she was dropped off at our vets office. She is a bit traumatized from the whole adventure. Of course she did eat a couple pieces of buttered bread, I guess that was too much of a temptation.

Next is Dottie. Dottie was brought home from a convenient store during a visit from Randy and Laci. She was homeless and very skinny. And after having lunch and her wieghing on our minds, Randy and Eric went back to the store to get her and she also was spayed Tuesday with Bissy. She still is a bit tired, sleeping a lot on Justin's bed. She doesn't seem to interested in going outside for more that to do her business and shes back in and back on Justin's bed. Soon she should be back to her old self again.
That's about all thats been happening this week. I will be heading to NC to visit with my grand baby and children on Sunday. I can't wait. Besides my calling to care for unwanted animals, my grandbaby is my life and with Noah on the way, it troubles my heart so much to be so far away. It wasn't supposed to be this way. Grandparents are supposed to have the opportunity to hug and kiss their grandchildren every day.

I'm at work and just scanned twin baby boys the ages of 18 months, they were flown in after their vehicle was hit by a semi truck and cut in half. Not able to locate the father yet and mom not surviving the accident, two small babies find themselves alone in this big hospital. How traumatic this accident must of been and now while one child lay in the ER fighting for his life the other lay on my table without a familiar face, he is so scared and without the energy to cry anymore, lay with big eyes locked on mine and I ask myself again......why do I work in a children's hospital?

I'm posting pictures of my bathroom and hallway with the new paint job, the color being pumpkin orange. I'm not sure that I'm crazy about the color but believe me it looks better than it did before I started. I had originally picked the color for the formal sitting room but because I change my mind often, it landed in the bathroom and hallway. For anyone reading my blog, we purchased a old stone home built in the early 1930's and we are renovating and boy we had no idea the challenges that were ahead. I have learned alot. Laci, my daughter asked that I post pictures so she could see how it turned out. This are not very good but I couldn't seem to get better ones.

I'm always posting my animals because they have become very important to me here in TN. This is Sweeney Todd, named by my daughter Lynsey who Sweeney belonged to before she came to live with me. At Lynsey's apartment she had full range of the apartment to play in and Lynsey had her litter trained, at our house she has been a bit afraid to rome, and after having her for about 6 months now, she has just become curious enough to snoop around. Lynsey, this pics are for you.
